Drawing on the rich blend of practitioner experiences and academic insights, the conference offers a distinctive lens through which to navigate the changing employment landscape while recognising the indispensable contributions of workers.
This session explores the challenge of climate change on jobs and the considerations needed in ensuring a Just Transition. Workers largely understand that a transformation of their industry is impending, but there is uncertainty about what this transition will look like. Through tripartite efforts, we can ensure that our transition towards a green economy is as fair and inclusive as possible to all concerned, creating decent work opportunities, and leaving no one behind.
